Major General C.S Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG, the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 12 Infantry Division visited battle-hardened War Heroes on Wednesday (10 April) at Kamburupitiya “Abhimansala – II” to share his best wishes for Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
The GOC, 12 Infantry Division along with Senior Officers visited the wellness center and inquired about their wellbeing of residential War Heroes and gave away special gift parcels among 13 War Heroes and 11 attendants as tokens of New Year greetings.
In addition, the GOC, 12 Infantry Division participated in Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations which was specifically designed for battle-hardened War Heroes in the premises.
Afterward, the GOC and the gathering interacted with them during a tea party. Before his departure, the GOC, 12 Infantry Division, penned his complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book.
A group of Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks were also associated with the visit.
