251 civilians in the general areas of Welioya, following arrangements coordinated by Brigadier Dhammika Jayasinghe, General Officer Commanding - 62 Division received free eye glasses during a distribution ceremony, organized by the 621 Brigade in the area on the eve of Christmas.
Sponsored by 'Apekattiya Mithuruhamuwa' group in Wethara, Horana, those civilians in Parakramapura, Padaviya, Sripura and Welioya areas after eye tests were conducted on them, received those free spectacles during a ceremony at Parakramapura Maha Vidyalaya premises on Monday (24).
This occasion was attended by representatives of donors, Brigadier Dammika Jayasinghe, General Officer Commanding, 62 Division, Colonel Shantha Ranaweera, Commander, 621 Brigade, Senior Officers in the 62 Division, 621 Brigade, 14 (Voluntary) Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) and 17 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG).bridgemedia | Nike Air Max 270
