Brigadier E.M.M Frenando Hdmc AATO Lsc of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps assumed duties as the Commander, Forward Maintenance Area-North (FMA - North) amid religious blessings at the FMA - North Headquarters on Tuesday (4).
The newly-appointed FMA- North Commander was welcomed by Staff Officers on arrival and saluted in a Guard Turnout, presented by troops soon after he entered the premises.
In his new office, the new Commander of FMA- North symbolically signed an official document to mark the assumption of his duties.
After a while, he addressed all Officers and Other Ranks and outlined his vision for the FMA-North in the future.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present during the day’s event.
