A group of 30 Other Ranks from various Regiments serving under the Security Force HQ-Jaffna joined a special English Language Training Course-No 5 that got to a start on 25th October 2022 at the Headquarters premises.
Intended to improve the proficiency of English language among the troops in the North, the Course commenced under the guidance and direction of the Commander Security Forces -Jaffna, Major General Chandana Wijayasundara.
Colonel K.A Pushpa Kumara, Colonel General Staff of the Security Forces Headquarters-Jaffna attended the inaugural ceremony and delivered the opening address, emphasizing the importance of learning English language. Several Officers and Staff Non-Commissioned Officers of the Security Forces of Jaffna took part in the brief ceremony.
