Engineer Division GOC Undertakes Visits to Under Command Engineer Brigades

The General Officer Commanding of (GOC) the Engineer Division, Major General Lanka Amarapala made formal visits to the Field Engineer Brigade and the Plant Engineer Brigade during 21-22 December respectively.

The General Officer Commanding received comprehensive briefings from respective Brigade Commanders about their operational readiness to face future challenges, training, administration and welfare of officers and soldiers.

During troop addresses, Major General Lanka Amarapala took time to stress on the need of continuous training to successfully tackle the non-traditional threats and challenges. Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of exemplary conduct and behavior of officers and other ranks in support of building the image of the Army.

Towards the culmination of visits, he left his remarks and commended both Brigades in the Visitors' books.
