Troops of the 5 Sri Lanka Artillery of the 224 Brigade in the 22 Division cleared the main drainage system of Aravikalluri area, Mutur by moving machinery of the Pradeshiya Sabha on Thursday (27).
Meanwhile, the Commander, Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E), Major General Lal Perera, addressed community leaders at the ‘Charles Hall’, Batticaloa to discuss the future development projects of the area.
Chairman of the Civil Community in Batticaloa, Mr Mamangaraja and 25 community leaders and senior officers took part in the meeting.
