Troops serving the Forward Maintenance Area - East, (FMA-E) together with commanding Officers and the staff Officers of respective logistic battalions held a demonstration of their ground administrative roles to a group of visiting delegation of student officers at Defence Services Command and staff Course (DSCSC) Course No: 16 when they arrived at Minneriya.
Two foreign Officers in the Logistic School Course No: 8 also joined the assignment that got underway on 7 June 2022.
The commanding Officers and the staff Officers of the respective logistic battalions conducted the demonstration to the students of both courses on how functions in specific Divisional Administrative Areas are performed before the visiting delegation. The Commander, FMA-East, Major General Sugath Rathnayake closely supervised the demonstration.
Commandant DSCSC Major General Nishantha Herath and Commandant, Army School of Logistics, Brigadier E.M.M Fernando were also associated with the occasion.
