Major General Samantha Silva, Commander, Security Forces - Central as the Chief Guest gave away a large stock of school accessories and stationery to 115 students learning at Makulella Vidyalaya, thanks to the sponsorship offered by Mr Ruwin Silva at Battaramulla.
The distribution ceremony on Friday (8) at the same Vidyalaya premises at first gave away those school accessories to the worst affected section of the school before others were delivered.
Commander, SF-Central, several Senior Officers, Principal and teachers at the school, parents and the Civil Affairs Officer at the SFHQ-Cen were present at the occasion.
