On a concept of Brigadier P.A.M. Peiris RSP USP psc, the Director Sports at the Directorate of Sports organized a series of lectures on “Sports psychology” for Army sportsmen and sportswomen of the Army Sports Committees. The sessions were designed to raise the morale and psychological capacity in order to enhance the performances of Army sportsmen and sportswomen in the Army pools.
The sessions were conducted on Monday (03 April) and 6 sports pools including swimming, boxing, taekwondo, tug of war, athletics and karate were benefited by the project. The lectures were conducted by Sports Psychologist of the Directorate of Sports, Captain S. Rupasri and representative officials of the Sports Committees also participated in the sessions.
