A special lecture was delivered by Colonel Dhammika Adikari, Colonel Media at Directorate of Media, Army HQ to the course attendees of the Civil Affairs Officers’ Course No-21 at the Regimental Centre of the Corps of Engineer Services (CES) in Panagoda on Tuesday (18).
The two-week long Course, attended by 24 Officers from different regiments has been organized by the Directorate of Psychological Operations and covers a wide range of aspects, inclusive of the difference between the civil life and the military life, civil-military relations, scope of civil affairs management, judgement on civil and military behavioural patterns, tapping of civil cooperation, conduct of humanitarian projects, promotion of the Army image and its recognition as a people-friendly organization, etc.
At the end of Colonel Dhammika Adikari’s lecture, attendees were exposed to a Question and Answer session, too.
