Various community based programmes were conducted by the Security Force Headquarters, Killinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) in the past week in different areas.
The renovated, ‘Wevusiri’ Canteen in Killinochchi area was reopened by Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander SFHQ-KLN on Friday (19) with the aim of providing a better service to both civilians and military personnel of the area.
At the same time, an English language course was initiated with the objective of enhancing the language proficiency of officers on Saturday (20) in the presence of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe at the auditorium in the SFHQ-KLN.
In the meantime, Silver Jubilee of the 6th Sri Lanka Engineers (SLE) was celebrated at Kokavil on Saturday (20) with the participation of Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Engineers and the Commander SFHQ (KLN).Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander SFHQ(KLN) presented a 40 LED TV to the 6 (SLE) to mark the Silver Jubilee.
