DGGS and Colonel of the Regiment (SLLI) Visits 4th Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI)

Director General General Staff (Acting) and Quarter Master General of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment Major General G.M.N. Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, on 24 March 2024 made an official visit to 4th Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) after assuming the duties of the Colonel of the Regiment Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment.

Major P.K. Waruwangodage RWP RSP USP Lsc, the Commanding Officer, 4th Battalion SLLI and troops warmly welcomed the visiting Colonel of the Regiment SLLI to the 4th Battalion SLLI offering him a Guard Turnout at the entrance following the military formalities.

After being attentive to briefing of roles and responsibilities and troops deployment of the 4th Battalion SLLI presented by the Commanding Officer, 4th Battalion SLLI, visiting Colonel of the Regiment of SLLI addressed the troops.

The official visit concluded with a complimentary remark in the visitors’ book.
