Major General M.T.K.R. Silva KSP, the Deputy Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) made a courtesy visit to the Coordinating Centre of the Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps (SLAPC) and the Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) and the 1 SLRC on 01 March 2024.
The Deputy Commandant, SLAVF was warmly welcomed by Colonel J.K.N.S. Jayasinghe KSP, the Coordinating Officer of the SLAPC and SLRC. Subsequently, he was accorded a Guard Turnout by the troops of the 1 SLRC upon his arrival to the camp premises.
During the visit, he addressed the troops, inspected the ongoing constructions of the camp and penned a complimentary note of appreciation in the visitors’ book prior to his departure.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were also present during the visit.
