Major General C.D Ranasinghe RWP RSP, Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) of the Army in parallel with the forthcoming 74th Army Anniversary called at ‘Ranaviru Sevana’ (wellness resort) in Ragama and shared views with resident War Heroes on Wednesday (27 Sept).
During his stay at the ‘Ranaviru Sevana’ he inquired about the well-being of those permanently injured war veterans undergoing medical treatment and rehabilitation for the rest of their lives. He also gave away gift parcels to them and wished them good luck.
Meanwhile, Major General K.P.S.A Fernando, Director General Infantry (DG - Infantry) went to ‘Mihindu Seth Madura’ (wellness resort) at Attidiya and interacted with resident War Heroes on the same day (27 Sept).
On behalf of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, both Senior Officers visited Ragama and Attidiya wellness resorts and joined the War Heroes for refreshments as a segment of the anniversary programmes.
Major General M.T.K.R Silva KSP, Deputy Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force, Commandants of wellness resorts, Senior Officers and Officers also took part in those events.
