The Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) of the Army and Chairman, Board of Management (BOM) of Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL), Major General C.D Ranasinghe RWP RSP made his first formal visit to the Ranaviru Apparel at Yakkala camp premises on Tuesday (15 August).
The DCOS was warmly welcomed by Brigadier M.G.A.N.B Mahathuwakkara RWP RSP ndc, Commandant RVAPL together with Brigadier A.C.J Wasage, Deputy Commandant in the company of all other senior officers.
He received a briefing on the factory process and its layout before he undertook a field visit.
He also extended his sincere gratitude to the Commandant and All Ranks including differently able War Heroes of the RVAPL for paving the way for the success of the factory.
Towards the end of the day’s proceedings, the DCOS placed his signature in the Visitors’ Book as a memory of his visit to the RVAPL.
