Crime Prevention Lecture Series Held for SFHQ-West Personnel

Security Forces Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) in collaboration with the Directorate of Provost organized a lecture series on Crime Prevention, from 27 - 28 February 2024. The event, held at the SFHQ-West premises, aimed to equip all Officers and Other Ranks serving in SFHQ-West with essential knowledge and strategies to combat crime.

Major V.N.M Jayasekara Lsc, Commanding Officer of the 1 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, conducted the sessions, delivering insightful presentations on a range of critical topics including organized crime, murder, financial fraud, misappropriation of arms and ammunition, drug use/trafficking, child abuse, rape, theft and online gambling.

A total of 31 Officers and 694 Other Ranks participated in the event. The initiative was conducted under the guidance of Major General S.W.M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the Commander, SF-West.
