Contingent Own Equipment (COE) Inspection Held at Gao Super Camp in Mali

The Contingent Own Equipment (COE) inspection of the Sri Lanka Guard Unit (SLGU) for the first quarter of 2024 was held at Gao Super Camp in Mali on 26 March 2024 with the participation of UN officials.

The COE inspection is held quarterly to verify whether sets of major equipment and self-sustainment provided by the troop contributing country are carried out as per the UN standards. During the inspection, vehicles, weapons, ammunition, medical, accommodation, welfare facilities and all other equipment were closely checked by the UN inspection team in accordance with provisions in the Memorandum of understanding (MOU).
