Contact Tel No 1906 for Assistance in Transporting Positive Patients - Head, NOCPCO

The general public are requested to call the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) on Tel No 1906 in case of any delays in transporting COVID-19 positive patients to Treatment Centres, says General Shavendra Silva, Head, NOCPCO, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army in a statement made to Media.

As the Army in coordination with Health authorities are busy increasing COVID-19 treatment capacity and facilities at Hospitals and improvised Treatment Centres across the island, the public are urged to contact the NOCPCO through Tel No 1906 and seek assistance for transportation of victims to suitable treatment centres.
