The Directorate of Army Band and Performing Arts in the Army under the directions of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage has now released a thematic song in connection with the International Children's Day (1 October).
Brigadier R.B Benjamin, Director Army Band and Performing Arts together with his staff officers produced the song, sung by members of the oriental band in the same Directorate.
Lyrics were written by Mrs D.K Dhammika Wasantha Kumari and melody and music direction was done by Major Buddhika Wanninayake.
Lance Corporal M Lakshan worked as the Videography and editing as well as Sound mixing and mastering by Corporal S Herath while video choreography and dancing features were presented by the Army dancing troupe.
Visuals feature Bhashi Megna Wanninayake, Sanuki Chanulya Wanninayake and visual script has been designed by Major Senadheera Jayarathna.
