Commander, SF -J Oversees Opening of Previously Restricted Kovils in Palali High Security Zone

The Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF -J), Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, along with his Staff Officers, visited seven kovils which are located in the Palali High Security Zone on 26 February 2024. These kovils, previously restricted, were made accessible to the public on 24 February 2024.

During the visit, Commander, SF - J toured Pillayar Kovil, Shakthivel Murugan Kovil, Rajeswari Kovil, Nagathampiran Kovil, Shivan Kovil, Sri Muththumari Amman Kovil, Naga Kovil, and Mananpir Pillayar Kovil.

This initiative, carried out under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, aligns with the government's reconciliation efforts.
