The Montfort International School, Allaipiddy, Jaffna, celebrated its 2nd Anniversary on 09 April 2024 under the theme ‘Empowering to Shine’.
Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF - J), graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The event commenced with the lighting of the traditional oil lamp and the presentation of mementos to the Guests. The students added colour for the day with performances including Songs, Dances, Speeches, and Dramas showcasing their talents.
The Commander, SF - J, during his speech emphasized the significance of education, parental involvement, and students' motivation for education, acknowledging the school's efforts in nurturing young talents.
Mr. Patrick Diranjan, Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports, and Youth Affairs of the Northern Province, along with Clergy, Academic and Non-Academic Staff, and Parents participated in the occasion.
