The recently-appointed Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Priyantha Perera made a courtesy call on the Northern Province Governor, Hon. Mrs. P. S. M. Charles on Wednesday (3) and had a cordial meeting afterwards with Mr Kanapathipillai Maheshan, District Secretary for Jaffna.
Several important matters, such as COVID- 19 coordination and control operations, progress of Civil-Military Coordination and Reconciliation in Jaffna peninsula were discussed with the Security Force Commander. during those meetings.
