Commodore Michael Harris OAM of Australian Defence Force, the Commander for Indo-Pacific Endeavour (IPE) 2024 extended his courtesies to the Chief of Staff of the Army, Major General W.H.K.S Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndu at the Army Headquarters on today (29 Jan).
During the cordial interaction, both parties exchanged views regarding the IPE 2024, bilateral engagement in training and security matters pertaining to Indo-Pacific region.
Towards the end of interactions, Chief of Staff presented mementos to the Commander for IPE 2024 and other visiting Senior Officers as tokens of appreciation.
Colonel Amanda Johnston CSC, the Defence Advisor at the Australian High Commission in Colombo, Colonel E.G.C Gunasena RWP RSP psc, Colonel Coordinating, Office of the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant Colonel Russ Lowes, Chief of Staff for IPE 2024 also were present during the meeting.
