The Deputy Chief of Staff and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda along with the Commander Artillery Brigade, Brigadier Dammika Welagedara and Commandant School of Artillery, Colonel Roshan Kannangara witnessed a demonstration of artillery field firing that got underway at the Field Firing Range, Tempitiya during 29-30 October as part of the ongoing training courses at the School of Artillery in Minneriya.
Students following the Battery Commanders’ Refresher Course, Long Gunnery Staff Course (ORs), Survey & Target Acquisition Course and Post Depot Course participated in those field firing exercises using 120 mm Light Mortars.
