Colombo Army Hospital with People’s Bank Gives Gifts to Newborns

The Directorate of Management and Maintenance at the Colombo Army Hospital in collaboration with the People’s Bank Narahenpita Branch gifted cash and gift parcels to the mothers who had given birth to infants during the period 01 February - 14 February 2023 on account of the National Independence Day ceremony.

Accordingly, 14 newborns of Army parents, each received Rs. 2000.00 in new bank deposits in addition to a parcel of essentials, each to the value of Rs. 8,000.00 during the brief ceremony held on 2 February at the Colombo Army Hospital.

Brigadier Janaka Withanachchi, Director, Directorate of Management and Maintenance at the Colombo Army Hospital and Mrs W.A.N Piyaseeli, Manager, People’s Bank, Narahenpita as Chief Guests presented those incentives to those mothers.

Colonel Samantha Kumarage, Director, Colombo Army Hospital, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and their families participated in the event.
