CES Recognizes Athletes for Achievements in Asian Tournaments

In recognition of the sports achievements of Sri Lanka Army athletes in the Asian Federation Hockey Tournament and the South Asian Kabaddi Tournament, cash incentives were awarded on 26 March 2024, at the Corps of Engineer Services Regimental Centre.

Corporal D.M.I.K Jayasundara and Lance Corporal A.P Sanjeewa were awarded cash incentives for securing the 2nd Runners-up position in the Asian Hockey Games 2022. Additionally, Lance Corporal K.D.M.P Kumara received a cash incentive for securing a silver medal in the Asian Games Kabaddi 2022. The awards were presented by Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Director General Financial Management and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services.

The Centre Commandant, along with Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
