Central Troops Welcome Their New Commander

Troops of the Security Force Headquarters-Central in Diyatalawa organized a series of military formalities to welcome the new Commander, Security Forces -Central, Major General W.W.H.R.R.V.M.N.D.K.B Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc of the prestigious Sri Lanka Armoured Corps on Wednesday (05 July).

The senior Officer was warmly welcomed by Senior Staff Officers of the headquarters, and troops accorded him a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour to be in line with military ceremonials. He symbolically signed a document to signify the acceptance of the new office before he joined refreshments and addressed the troops as a formality.

General Officers Commanding, Senior Staff Officers, Brigade Commanders and Battalion Commanders of the Security Forces-Central, Officers from Sri Lanka Air Force, Sri Lanka Police and Special Task Force were also there to extend greetings to the new Commander.
