A team of professionals in the Badulla Disaster Management Centre (DMC), held an awareness workshop on ‘Disaster Management’ for troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) on Friday (14) at the request of Major General Rukmal Dias, Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-Cen).
The full-day workshop, attended by more than 20 Army personnel learnt on recommended and laid down guidelines and practices in emergencies, ahead of the forthcoming rainy season.
Director (preparedness) at DMC, Uva Province, Mr Sunil Jayaweera and DMC Assistant Director, Uva Province, Mr Udaya Kumara were also present during this programme. url clone | AIR MAX PLUS
