Major General A. P. De Z Wickramaratne, Commander, Security Force – Central (SFHQ-C) visited the 2 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Electrical &Mechanical Engineering (SLEME) Headquarters in Diyatalawa on Thursday (28).
On arrival, the visiting Security Force Commander was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel A. D. M. G Gunasekara, 2 (V) SLEME after he was honoured in a formal Guard Turnout.
During the visit, the SF Commander planted a ‘Naa’ sapling to mark his first visit to the 2 (V) SLEME Headquarters, followed by a customary troop address.
Senior officers, officers and other ranks participated in the day’s events.
