Central Commander Makes Official Visits to Under Command Division and other Units

The recently appointed Commander Security Forces-Central Major General Kumara Jayapathirana made his first formal visits to several under command establishments during 11-12 November.

During his visit to the 11 Division HQ in Pallekele, Major General Sarada Samarakoon, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 11 Division welcomed him at the entrance to the Divisional headquarters and briefed him afterwards on the role and tasks of the Division in their area of responsibility.

Afterwards, the visiting Commander Security Forces visited the 3 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 3 Sri Lanka National Guard camp, followed by Laxapana Power station unit , Kotmale dam unit, Agunuwelipelessa ammunition dump site and the Army hospital construction in Pallekele.
