Commodore Syed Maksumul Hakim, Defence Attache in the High Commission of Bangladesh for Sri Lanka made a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva at his office in the Army Headquarters on Wednesday (2) evening.
During the cordial discussions, the duo shared views on ongoing training modules and existing cooperation between both countries and matters of bilateral interest. They also recalled longstanding relations between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and underlined the importance of further cementing such ties.
