AWC's Second Trimester Graduation Ceremony at Army War College Awards Certificates

The graduation ceremony of the second trimester of the year 2023 at Army War College (AWC) in Buttala was held on Friday (11 Aug) at the AWC auditorium in the presence of Brigadier U.K.D.D.P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, Commandant, AWC as the Chief Guest.

A total of 109 Student Officers comprised of Student Officers of Senior Command Course No-08, 59 Student Officers of Junior Command Course No 27 and 24 Student Officers of Junior Staff Course No 24 received certificates and awards during the ceremony after successful completion of their respective courses.

Brigadier B.P.P.G.K Balasooriya RSP psc, Deputy Commandant, AWC and Brigadier S.P Wickramasekara RWP RSP USP psc, Chief Instructor, AWC also joined award of certificates to the course participants. Towards the end, the AWC Commandant delivered the key oration, inspiring Student Officers to take over future challenges in the service and continue learning in order to further elevate their standards as professional Officers.

The Student Officers who have shown exceptional academic excellence and secured the first, second and third places in order of merits in each course received the awards and certificates from the Chief Guest. Notable individual performances are as follows:
