A meeting was conducted to educate Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) in Jaffna District on the proposed construction of houses to them at the Divisional Secretariat in Thelippalai, Jaffna on Sunday (28).
The awareness programme was organized according to a proposal of the Commander, Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) Major General Mahesh Senanayake with a view to educating them on distribution of houses to them and resettlement.
Brigade Commander 515 Brigade, Colonel Sanath Aluwihare, Chief Civil Coordinating Officer SF(J), Lieutenant Colonel Harischandra Mayasinghe, Mr K Sri Mohanan , Divisional Secretary, Thellippalai and a large Now of IDP participated at the event.
