Awarding Ceremony of SLAC Inter Unit Drill/ Pace Stick Competition - 2023 Held at Kalaththewa

The awarding ceremony of the Inter Unit Drill/ Pace Stick Competition - 2023 of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) got underway at Kalaththewa Armoured Corps Training Centre on 31 March, headed by Brigadier Piyal Wijesiriwardena, Centre Commandant SLAC.

The competitions were held on 30 and 31 March 2023 at Kalaththewa Armoured Corps Training Centre.

Displaying tremendous overall performances, 4 SLAC Drill Squad emerged as the Champions while 1 SLAC Drill Squad secured the 1st Runners Up place pushing 7 (V) SLAC Drill Squad to be the 2nd Runners Up in the Inter Unit Drill Competition – 2023.

In the Pace Stick, the 7 (V) SLAC Pace Stick Squad emerged as the Champions while the 6 SLAC Pace Stick Squad secured the 1st Runners Up and the 2nd Runners Up went to the 5 SLAC Pace Stick Squad in the Pace Stick Competition - 2023.

Captain H. M. H. Senarathne of 4 SLAC clinched the Best Commander Award and the Staff Sergeant D. P. Dissanayake of 7 (V) SLAC won the Best Drill Instructor Award for their outstanding performances.
