The Army Training School (ATS) Maduruoya organized a farewell ceremony for the outgoing Commandant, ATS, Maduruoya, Major General Senaka Kasthurimudali on Wednesday (Feb 22) at the Training School premises.
The outgoing Commandant was warmly welcomed by Colonel Kumara Ranathungamage, Commanding Officer, ATS at the entrance and was saluted in a colourful Guard Turnout and a ceremonial parade. Later, he addressed the troops and participated in an All Rank tea ending the brief ceremony.
Major General Senaka Kasthurimudali was appointed as the Commandant, ATS on 16 September 2022. He has now been posted as the new General Officer Commanding of the 68 Infantry Division HQ at Puthukkudiyiruppu.
