ASL's Logistics Course - 23 Awards Certificates

The closing ceremony of the Logistics Course No:23 for Senior Non Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) at the Army School of Logistics (ASL) at Trincomalee was held on 28 November 2022 after closing remarks, made by the ASL Commandant, Brigadier E.M.M Fernando.

Altogether 59 Senior Non Commissioned Officers representing various regiments of the Sri Lanka Army followed the Course which commenced on 03rd October 2022.

The course curriculum included theories and practical exercises of existing logistic procedures. English language, IT, computer were taught before attendees were taken on tour to historical and academically significant places in Trincomalee area during the course.

While addressing the Course participants, the ASL Commandant highlighted the importance of continued improvement of course contents and successful completion of the Course as scheduled.

First in order of merit was awarded to Sergeant D.M.S.L Dissanayake of the 7 Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps while second and third places in order of merits were awarded to the Staff Sergeant H.G.R.C Rathnayake of 7 Sri Lanka Signal Corps and Staff Sergeant D.K.G.C.A.K Karunarathne of 3 Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Regiment.

Senior Instructor, tutorial staff at the ASL, members of the permanent staff and SNCOs participated in the event.
