The fourth encounter of Sri Lanka Army women’s cricket team and Kandy Ladies Cricket Club had its day at Peradeniya University Grounds on Monday (8).
Organized by Sri Lanka Cricket, this second tier tournament enabled Sri Lanka Army women’s cricket team become champions by qualifying with 104 runs for the semi finals.
Woman Soldier P.D.K Sandamali as the Best Batsman secured 46 runs, not out and Woman Soldier P.K.R Peshala took 3 wickets to 4 runs, showing her exceptional bowling skills.
