Army Troops Receive Jack Saplings

In order to encourage Army personnel on cultivation of valuable food crops, a stock of 50 jack saplings were distributed among troops serving in all formations. The distribution took place on Saturday (21) at Bandarawela.

This programme was empowered by the ‘Hadabima’ Authority of Sri Lanka in cooperation with the Army.

For this event, the Commander, Security Forces - Central, Major General Rukmal Dias and government officials contributed.

More than 5000 saplings within the Security Force Headquarters - Central are to be distributed shortly under this programme.
