Troops serving under the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) organized a cleaning campaign in Pooneryn area to eradicate Dengue, on Friday (13).
Troops of the 661 Brigade, 20 Sri Lanka Light Infantry, 5 (Volunteer) Gajaba Regiment, 18 (Volunteer) Gajaba Regiment and 2 Sri Lanka National Guard jointly supported the conduct of the cleaning project.
The project covered the premises at Base Hospital, Bus Stand, District Secretariat Office, Ayurveda Hospital, Library, etc.
A total of 56 Army personnel including 1 officer and 55 other ranks attended this programme.
