On the directions of Major General Udaya Perera, Commander, Security Force Headquarters Jaffna (SFHQ-J), troops of 515 Brigade under command to 51 Division of SFHQ-J, cleaned the temple premises and renovated buildings at Miliddy Kannagi Amman Temple, Kankesanthurai prior to the recent annual Pooja.
Around 500 Hindu devotees including those from Colombo and a few Hindus from overseas attended the annual Pooja on Friday (11). Army provided tea with snacks and dinner to all participants.
