Army Private in the US Breaks His Own High Jump Record in LSC

Private H. T. U. T Perera of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) participating in the Indoor High Jump event at the Indoor Lone Star Conference (LSC) competition at Texas Tech Sports Performance Center in Lubbock, Texas in the US broke his own record and renewed it making a new achievement during 25 -26 February.

His new record marked 2.27 meters as against his previous record 2.26 meters.

The Lone Star Conference (LSC) is a collegiate athletic conference, affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II level. Member institutions are located in the southwestern United States, with schools in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arkansas. Three schools in the Pacific Northwest-one each in Oregon, Washington and the Canadian province of British Columbia will become football-only members in 2022.
