Army Powelifters Win Overall Championship in National Powerlifting Competition

The Sri Lanka Army Powerlifters in the National Powerlifting Competition-2022, held at Taj Samudra Hotel, Colombo on Saturday (29) won the overall Championship clinching 4 Gold, 3 Silver Medals and 01 Bronze Medal.

Warrant Officer II, S.K.S Pradeep was adjudged the Best Powerlifter in the competition, vied by participants from island-wide Sports Clubs. This tournament, organized by the Sri Lanka Powerlifting Federation covered Women’s category in 47, 52, 57, 63, 72, 84 kgs and above 84 kg weight categories while Men's weight category included 59, 66, 74, 83, 93, 105, 120 kgs and above 120 kg.
