211 Infantry Brigade troops of the 21 Infantry Division under command to the Security Force HQ - Wanni with a view to extending a helping hand to the deserving students, getting ready for the Grade 5 scholarship examination organized a series of free seminars for 500 students in Padaviya area on 9 September at Buddhangala Central College, Padaviya, Anuradhapura.
The community service got underway under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 21 Infantry Division, Major General I.A.N.B Perera RWP USP ndu psc with the support of the 211 Infantry Brigade and the sponsorship, provided by ‘Imashi Publications' through the Army coordination.
The seminars also distributed past question papers and model papers among the students free of charge during the seminars.
The programme was headed by Brigadier I.N Kandanaarachchi RSP, Commander, 211 Infantry Brigade. Donors and officials from Imashi Publications and officials from the Padaviya People’s Bank branch, the Commanding Officer, 9 Gajaba Regiment, Officers and Other Ranks attended the community project.
