Army Gives Away Books to School Library

With the motive of promoting reading habits and educational interest among children and youngsters in Mullaittivu area, the 591 Brigade Commander, Colonel W.S.B Nayakarathne at the request of the school authorities, donated a stock of reading books of varying subjects to the 'Mullaittivu Maha Vidyalaya' library in Mullaittivu on Friday (1).

The donation was coordinated by the 591 brigade troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT).

The book collection, which were largely in both English and Tamil languages, is made up of biographies, story books, magazines, past paper books and educational books.
