The Sri Lanka Army Sergeant R.M.S Pushpakumara of 5 Sri Lanka Artillery competing in the Asian Cross-Country Running Championship, held at Nagaland, India won the Silver medal.
Similarly, Sri Lanka Army men’s team comprised of 3 competitors emerged as the overall runners-up in the event.
Likewise, Army's two women competitors emerged as overall women’s runners up during this competition.
