Army cricketers beat the BRC team and won the three-day Premier League Championship Tournament under Tier ‘B’ cricket match.
The tournament organized by Sri Lanka Army Cricket Committee saw the Army team won by 6 wickets.
Army’s S.L. Jayawardane scored the highest score during both innings. In the 1st innings Army Cricket Club finished 246 for 10 wickets in 71.4 overs whereas they did better in the 2nd innings by scoring 154 against 4 wickets in 33 overs.
The match was played at Panagoda Army grounds.
