Army Cricketers Win Against Tamil Union Cricketers
Army Sports Club Team effectively beat the Tamil Union Cricket Team in the 1st inning in the Premier League Super Eight Cricket Tournament, conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket Association (SLCA) at Nondescripts Cricket Club (NCC), Colombo recording an exciting win to the Army team on Tuesday (12).
During the match, excellent performance was shown by Lance Bombardier K.P.S.P Karunanayake scoring 146 runs and Bombardier D.G.A.S Gunarathne recorded 97 scores. Meanwhile, Bombardier D.K.R.C Jayathissa captured 6 wickets for 54 runs.
Army cricketers will play the next match against Badureliya Cricket Club (BCC) Colombo during March 19 – 22.
