Army Cricketers Meet Army Commander

Members of the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) under 23 cricket team and the SLA women’s cricket team met the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva at his office on Thursday (25) and received his blessings.

The first Division of the under-23 T-20 Premier Cricket Tournament and the first Division of the women’s cricket tournament organized by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board were won by SLA cricketers.

Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva shared a couple of thoughts with the winners and appreciated them for their accomplishments during the tournaments.

He also required into their requirements, if any before the culmination of the meeting.

Major General (Retd) Jagath Wickramasinghe, President Army Cricket was also associated with the occasion.
