Army Cricketers Do Well in Premier League Tournament

Army cricketers, playing in the three-day Premier League Cricket Tournament showed their skills and helped Army team to be placed on the 4th place in the overall points table.   

Army cricketers beat the BRC team in its 1st innings and pushed for a draw during March 22 – 24 at BRC ground.

Lance Corporal T.D.T. Zoysa scored 107 runs and Lance Corporal W.C.C. Fernando scored 51 runs in the 2nd innings and reached a score of 350 in all out.

Lance Corporal D.G.A.S. Gunarathne, Lance Corporal S.H. Krishan Kavinga and Corporal H.H.M. de Zoysa got half centuries during the 1st innings and collected 266 in all out.
