155 school students at Padaviya C Yaya College, off Parakramapura were the recipients of school accessories and stationery, organized by the Army, thanks to the sponsorship of a donor family.
Accordingly, family members in memory of their relative, late Mr Gunadasa Rajapaksha came forward to sponsor the cost of those school accessories, given to students at the invitation of the Army.
Troops of the 14 Sri Lanka Light Infantry of the 621 Brigade under the 62 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni took the initiative in organizing the donation programme at the school premises on Tuesday (22).
Brigadier Keerthi Perakum Commander, 621 Brigade, Civil Affairs Officer, 621 Brigade, Commanding Officer 14 (V) SLLI and a few senior Officers attended the distribution ceremony.
